Description
Everyone has secrets. Noelle and Susie both do. But when Susie is threatened with expulsion and Noelle begins tutoring her, those secrets come to light, and things will never be the same for either of them.

This is a really nice start. I’m really drawn in by Noelle’s routine, even with the other main character of the story not present yet.

Hmm, shy lesbian, deceptive dream sequence and mental health problems. With realistic relatable struggles, and compelling characters.
Well, add a great OC or two and you'll have all the hallmarks of a Krickis fic.
For me the second half where there is a major break from the routine was the most fun to read. It almost gives me hope that this will be a happy story.
The first half that set up the world and some characters was impressively true to the chapters title, while not making me loose any interest. That is to say it's just her routine, but written so that we see her struggle every step of the way.
I'm definitely rooting for them both to be together and I haven't even been properly introduced to Susie yet!

Good to see Noel standing up for herself and to her crush no less, even if it was brief. And a very relatable chapter overall.
It's a little strange to me that I'm enjoying the Susie chapter rather less than the Noel chapters. I'm not the biggest Deltarune fan but to put it in MLP terms Susie is kinda Rainbow Dash and Sunset Shimmer(two of my top favourites). Where as Noel is more Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle, two great characters but not quite my favourites.
But I'm sure as the character of Susie is given time to develop things will change and I'll enjoy them both equally.

Finally got around to finishing this, and I enjoyed it greatly. It’s a wonderful story with giddy highs and horrifying lows for the characters that serve to make the ending all the more rewarding. The characters are all presented really well, both existing and original, especially given that this was based on Deltarune Chapter 1 alone without Chapter 2. Really, the only oddities Chapter 2 introduces for this fic are the fic’s lack of influence from Noelle’s sister and Berdly not m’ladying everywhere. I will say I feel bad for Carol being cast as this much of a monster when she hasn’t even done much in the games, lol.
Also, I feel bad about Bulldog Boi never getting to play cards with Susie.
Oh I am excited to see where this goes. Noelle, you adorable deer. Looking forward to how you write the Noelle and Susie dynamic!
Also caught that little reference. Monster to young human indeed. Hehe.
