Description

In the afterparty for the Grudgby grudge match to end all grudge matches, Amity finds herself left alone with Willow for a few minutes and feels crushed by the silence. A lot has been left unsaid between them and the only thing left for her to do is say it.

This story starts immediately following the events of Wing It Like Witches and runs concurrently to Agony of a Witch and Young Blood, Old Souls.

Editing by Jetstream and FormerlyCommitted.

Row Row Fight the Power!

This blew my expectations out of the water. Not only did you capture the comedy of the show, you demonstrated an excellent understanding of the characters, expanding on Willow, Eda, Lilith, Luz, and Amity in meaningful ways. Luzmity, or whatever we're calling that pairing, is super adorable and pure. I still can't stop smiling. I'm slapping this in my favorites the second collections return.

With your MLP fics, my overall impression of you as a writer was ‘good but not great’. Now I see that was just a decline in passion for the source material manifesting itself. I eagerly anticipate any future stories featuring these lovable rascals in the future.

You know, I was sure that as soon as Offprint started to gain speed, I'd start really digging into some Owl House fics and hopefully find some good authors along the way. What a way to start that trend off than with a story from an author I have fond memories of from another fandom already.

I loved the opening chapter. You really captured the vibe of that friend group quickly, even with Amity's addition which we haven't really seen in the show yet. I feel like the character voices slipped a little bit during the serious talk between Amity and Willow, but apart from that you handled them all really well, especially the centerpiece gay disaster herself. And the second chapter, well, it kind of writes itself, but you hit on things that lots of people would probably have overlooked. Lilith, and the way she fits into the Owl House's dynamic, for example.

Very much looking forward to more from you on this bold new writing frontier!

Spoken like someone who needs to re-read Spellbound Fireflies!

(Part 1)

This is really cute so far! I never thought of the idea of them just having British cookies, and not knowing what chocolate or chocolate chip cookies are.

Also, with the section separators, I was like, “Woah, when did Figments make that update?!” until I noticed they were just images, lol.

(Part 2)

When Amity rushed off, I didn't think she'd arrive after it all ended; but I forgot where in the timeline the broadcast happened. Also, injured girl.

This was a great followup chapter to the season finale, with some really sweet and adorable interactions. I love that Luz just went with it all.

This was such a nice fic! I really loved the characterization of everyone, you really capturd the feel of the show here. The shipping scenes had me positively giddy, and it was easy to get sucked into the story. Thank you for writing this, I look forward to reading more of your stories!
