Ooh this was a good read! Fond of the direct style used, particularly with the repetition. Has a kind of cadence to it.

Thank you ^^ I'm not much of a horror writer, but I got the prompt “strange, eerie, and cold” and instantly thought it would make a cool creepy mermaid story.

Thank you! I became a big fan of repetition when playing Undertale, and have been trying to find ways to incorporate it into my writing.
