Description
A newcomer to the Boiling Isles arrives in a flash of fire and lightning: The song that dooms evil. Though he brings heavy burdens with him, he is soon accepted by Luz and company, in more ways than one. However, the one who followed him there has more nefarious intentions…
This is primarily an Owl House fanfic, but it’s also a crossover with Thunderbolt Fantasy. No knowledge of the latter show is necessary for enjoyment of this story, which takes place immediately after Eclipse Lake.

When I heard this was a crossover with Thunderbolt Fantasy, I have to say, I didn’t expect the character crossing over to be Làng. With his bard-like skills, it makes sense.
The TOH characters feel pretty good and in character. Làng feels off, though I suppose he isn’t playing off the other TF characters here; in particular, he feels too stoic and serious, but I may be misremembering how he acts in TF. Him being introduced by breaking the leg of a random townsfolk and killing a guard feels off too; there’s a context in which I could see him doing that, but it felt weird as presented. Also, I felt like the TOH characters should have either cared less or much more that he killed someone.
Gus getting a crush on him was pretty cute, and Làng getting a job at the school seems like a solid enough set up. Looking forward to more.
